Shatavari is a medicinal plant with a long tradition in Ayurvedic medicine, it is known for its numerous benefits for women's health.
In Ayurveda Shatavari is the complement of Ashwaganda which has a more masculine energy.
In Sanskrit Shatavari means “she who has a hundred husbands”, implying that the herb can help and support fertility and vitality.
Shatavari maintains the health and balance of female hormonal processes during all periods of life. It improves menstrual symptoms by relieving cramps, PMS and regularizing the menstrual flow.
It is a plant suitable for periods prior to pregnancy, it builds a uterus and healthy eggs for the future embryo.
It can also be taken during pregnancy, in this case, many studies have shown that Shatavari helps high-risk pregnancies, reducing cases of miscarriages and increasing the percentage of success in complicated births.
Increases breast milk production during the breastfeeding period.

People who suffer from respiratory problems and who have lung allergies in contact with herbs cannot take Shatavari.
People who have allergies to asparagus may have allergic reactions to Shatavari.
People suffering from kidney stones, heart problems, endema or women with estrogen-induced disorders and fibrocystic breasts should also not take Shatavari.
Usage:
It can be taken daily mixed or dissolved in water, vegetable drinks, juices, smoothies, yogurt, tea or soups.
Recommended maximum daily dosage: 3 to 10g (1 to 3 teaspoons).
Example for a recipe with powdered Shatavari – Tonic with Shatavari:
Heat 1 cup rice milk or almond milk and mix 1 teaspoon powdered Shatavari, 1 teaspoon Maca and a pinch of cinnamon.
Sweeten with a little Stevia or honey if you like.
Drink it early in the morning or at night.
To preserve the freshness of this product:
Avoid exposure to heat.
Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
Remove all existing air before closing the package.
Close the bag securely after use.
Store in a cool, dry place.
