Muira puama (Ptychopetalum olacoides or Acanthes virilis), popularly known as marapuama, is a vine with white flowers and a strong perfume, which grows in the Amazon, northern Brazil.
According to popular belief, the bark of its root has aphrodisiac properties.
Muirapuama originates from the tupi mirapu'ama, and means "prancing tree" (ybyrá + pu'am).

Usage:
Infuse like tea.
